Sana graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in 2018, completing a double major in chemistry and biology for health sciences. She began working with the Gunning Group in the 3rd year of her undergraduate studies as a Research Opportunity Program student and subsequently completed her 4th year thesis in the same lab. Sana has now joined the Gunning Group as a Master's student where she plans to study and modulate the metabolic stability of the pentafluorobenzene sulfonamide warhead and its resulting applications.
